Healed From Chron's Disease Through Revelation Of Righteousness

In the beginning of March 26 2014, as a young teenager, I started having stomach issues. When it first started, it was very mild for me to care too much about it, but day by day it slowly became worse. I was unaware that I was experiencing the symptoms for Chron's disease. I was losing weight rapidly. I lost my appetite and my mobility as most activities became too painful. My family became increasingly concerned when they noticed how skinny I was, but I convinced them that it was part of my growth spurts. I tried hiding the pain in as much as I could so that I wouldn't be taken to the doctors or the hospital.

At the time, I was only 12 years old and refused to go to the doctors, because I used have a fear of them, but when I hit 16 years of age, it got to the point where I couldn't concentrate at school, nor could I walk without sitting down every 15 minutes for the pain to pass over, so I finally agreed to see a doctor. On the first 3 visits, they couldn't find what was wrong with me, so they decided to send me to hospital. It was there, they diagnosed me as having Chron's disease. They wanted me to take steroids to lower my immune system to stop the inflammation of my intestines and to help my body digest the nutrients in my food. However, I didn't want any sort of life time medication and was relieved to hear my mum gracefully decline the doctor.

Over time, the pain grew increasingly worse, to the point I was becoming depressed from the fact that I couldn't be "normal" and healthy like everyone else. I became desperate to the extent that I was crying to the Lord at night with a pillow on my face so that my parents wouldn't hear me.

Then one Tuesday night teaching at my church, Rock 7-5, my pastor was preaching about how Jesus is MY righteousness, His death on the cross HAD made ME healed and that HIS grace is PERMANENT. Since this massive revelation clicked into me, I MEDITATED and DECLARED it day and night. The symptoms gradually became less and less, but I kept declaring Jesus' finished work on the cross.

I found that since His righteousness has made me healthy, I had to stand my ground in faith and I had to persist in meditating on His finished work on the cross by taking communion. As He is, so am I here in this world, I do not live by the curses of this world, but what Jesus has done and what He has said. Even until now I still persist in His grace and I am able to do whatever Jesus has designed my body to perform. I can say I am perfectly healthy now because He is the great I AM and I AM healed. Christ is MY LIFE!
