Jesus said to abide in the vine, for without Him, you can do nothing. Abide is not a place you’re trying to get to, it’s a place you remain in. The problem is that too many people are trying to be the vine, then wondering why there is no fruit in their life. We are not the supplier, nor the producer. Our part is to receive from the vine and bear the fruit. It’s not our concern what type of grapes we produce, as long as we are abiding in Him.
