2023-03-26 Jesus' Love In Serving You
For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves. - Luke 22:27
Jesus paid the ultimate price in serving mankind, changing the course of history forever by taking on yours and my sin so that we can receive His righteousness and experience eternal life.
What started in one garden (Eden), ended in another (Gethsemane).
Jesus prayed and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling to the ground. Because of the redeeming quality of Jesus’ blood, the moment His blood mingled with His sweat, He redeemed us from the curse of Adam. (“By the sweat of your face you will eat bread…”)
Jesus redeemed us from the curse of self effort, mental torment, anxiety, memory loss etc. Now we walk on favoured ground, grace ground, because Jesus shed His blood for you.
